Our School Tour

On Wednesday the 1st of June we went on our School Tour to Wooly Wards Pet Farm. We were all so excited! We all arrived to school on time and ready to go that morning. We had to get a bus to get there. We really enjoyed this and we were really looking forward to being on a bus with all our friends.

When we got to the farm we met our tour guide for the day Enda. We got to go to the art room first. We all got to make our own little pigs using play dough. This was so much fun and teacher was so proud of our artistic skills!

After we had finished our art we got the chance to go the petting room. We saw animals such as hedgehogs, guinea pigs, chicks and even a rat! We all had the chance to hold and pet them all. Teacher was the only one who was afraid to the hold the rat!!!

We also got the chance to feed baby lambs, make cookies, go on a train ride and go see a really funny show. We all had such a lovely day and some of us even fell asleep on the bus home! Here are some more pictures of us enjoying our day out in Wooly wards Pet Farm! :)

May's Aistear Activities :)

As mentioned earlier in the blog our theme for the month of May was Sports and Hobbies. We had the opportunity to visit a real life gym in Clondalkin Leisure Centre before we opened up our own one in the Role Play area for Aistear!

Here are some pictures of us at the gym in Room 6!

We also got the chance to play with these new blocks for Aistear. They are called Jaggo blocks! We love building with them they are so fun! Take a look at us experimenting and playing with the blocks

We have built houses, castles, ramps and gyms!

We also had the chance to do some free painting.  Teacher gave us a big sheet of paper and different colour paint. We were told we were allowed to paint whatever we want! Take a look at us in action!
